Our hearts go out to you at this time of loss for Ethan. We will never forget what a fast learner he was! And so funny! His smile and clever way that he had our number will always be remembered. Your incredible hard work and dedication is an inspiration. How did you ever come up with all those TEACCH station activities?!!

Dear Jody, David, and Daniel,
My heart is broken for you all. Ethan was truly and angel on earth who touched, taught, and brought a smile to everyone he encountered. The same can be said for all of you. He was a gift and I cherish the time I got to spend with him. May all your precious memories lessen the pain I know you all are feeling.
My deepest sympathy,
Lauri Fowler

David, Jody and Daniel,
Ethan will always have a special place in my heart. I only took care of him for 3 years, but not only did he teach me a lot, but so did your family. I enjoyed caring for him in your home and at SRACLC summer camp. He was a smart and sweet boy. I know I said this before, but he could not have asked for a better family. He was loved by his parents and brother; Daniel really loved wrestling and playing with him. Ethan would laugh and laugh! Please know I am thinking of you during this very sad time.

I first met Ethan when he was three years old and just starting school at SEDOL. It was my pleasure to be a part of his very first summer school experience at Powers. I remember him as a very fun and determined little guy! Over the years, it was good to hear about his accomplishments from his vision teacher. My condolences to your family. May happy memories help move you through this very difficult time.

Although I never had the pleasure of knowing Ethan personally, his loving brother, Daniel, once wrote the most beautiful essay about him at Twin Groves where he names Ethan his personal hero. This is a devastating day.

Ethan was such a joy to have in the classroom. He put a smile on my face everyday and never ceased to amaze me with his daily work ethic. He had an unbelievable sense of humor and always knew how to warm our hearts. He will be greatly missed and a student that I will never forget. I am both honored and humbled to have had a student like Ethan in my first classroom as a special education teacher. His legacy will be remembered forever.

David, Jody and Daniel,
Ethan and your entire family have made an impact on so many people’s lives. Ethan showed us how to be fearless, persistent and never say never.
I cherish every moment I had with him at the Charge Conference and teaching him at school.

I remember Ethan would almost put a smile on my face,we where at powers togethers since we where small he was my friend and I loved him for being him. I saw how strong he was and how nothing stopped him. When we both left powers I missed him a lot especially his cooking, he was a good cook.
I’m so sad for you,but I’m am so happy he had a mom like you Mrs Wolfe,I saw how much he loved you. How happy he was with his dad and Daniel.
I will miss him but he will always stay in my heart and memories.
